ABOUT ME
"Life is a journey, not a destination" - Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Awesome Adam” has been a recipient and passionate enthusiast to the benefits of Massage Therapy since 1991. Early training in my "growing up years" led me on a path of discovery to be of the best benefit to others. I received my formal education and certification for Massage Therapy from Cumberland Institute for Holistic Therapies in Brentwood, TN; this is also where I received my nickname. I have since been licensed in 6 other states (AK,CO,GA,KY,HI,PA) and gained immense experience from a broad range of clients.
As a therapist I am intuitive, nurturing and maintain a positive outlook towards long term results for clients. Highly committed to professionalism in this work and striving to honor my clients through healthy touch on their lives. Being a good communicator along with possessing excellent body knowledge usually allows me to get different results than "average". I strive to be patient, gentle and firm; and believe in allowing your body to repair itself instead of forcing change. I do expect that my sessions should not hurt you more than they help.
Specializing in Integrative Therapy, I pull from all of my knowledge and experience to bring you the greatest benefit through a combination of methods and techniques. I use Swedish techniques to relax the body, Acupressure to quiet the mind and connect the body, Neuromuscular Therapy and Kinesiology to work through chronic pain issues. I also perform Manual Lymphatic Drainage to increase movement of body fluids, reduce swelling, decrease healing time from injuries and promote detoxification of the body. Along with Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Myofascial Release Techniques I am capable of addressing many chronic problems or issues.
I believe that every-body is special and unique, and deserves the care and attention of a therapist that will listen to them and address their needs specifically.
